Bugaboo

In 1994, Max Barenbrug was honoured by the Design Academy Eindhoven for his innovative mobility designs. In 1995, he teamed up with Eduard Zanen, a physician who understood the physiological needs of children. Max then tweaked one of his designs – and the result was the original Bugaboo pushchair. This design set new standards in pushchair functionality, form and safety, and laid the foundations for the Bugaboo brand.
