BabyMocs

BabyMocs was born out of the Swedish company OhHappyDay leading a pilot project in Sweden to try to engage homeless citizens into the labor market via micro jobs. In order to fund this project they needed another project to finance their non-profit actions. They wanted to build a brand that would contribute to a happier world and what better way to do that than with environmentally friendly children shoes? And so BabyMocs was born: children’s shoes in vegan pineapple leather, a leather alternative made from the cellulose fibers extracted from pineapple leaves.
